My name is Daniel James Barker, I am 26 years old, and I am a pipe maker based out of Iowa. Pipe making for me is an almost meditative experience that allows me to flex both my creative skills, from years of doing visual arts, as well as my analytical abilities from earning a bachelor’s degree in physics. This is represented in my logo, as it is both a minimalist form of my initials (DB) as well as a geometric representation of the first three numbers in the Fibonacci sequence (1, 1, 2).
